Who is this Walter Gropius that Google is trying to send everyone to today? If you haven’t seen the Google logo tofay about hum, go to the Google home page. You see that funny looking logo they have? If you click it it takes you to a search for Walter Gropius. I found out a lot about him here.
Basically the man is called the father of modern architecture. He designed a bunch of buildings in the 1930’s that were cool looking. Gropius also started a design school, and he taught architecture at some fancy colleges like Harvard. He was born in Germany, but he ran away from Hitler and the Nazis to move to the United States.
Walter Gropius is sort of cool, but why did Google think they had to make a logo for him? It would be his 125th birthday, but so what??

Did you hear the story about the Mexicans in New Hampshire that were busted by the cops for being illegal aliens? They were caught, placed in jail, and then the judge just let them go. The court basically said that the feds decide immigration, but the feds don’t do anything about all the illegals from mexico! Read this for for info:

Now a friend told me that some illegals are filing suits against the cops for using negligence when arresting them! Is that dumb or what? The cops were just doing their jobs.

I’ve been playing around with the stock market lately. I found two sites that have helped me a bit. I know nothing about financial planning, so I need everything I can find. A great article was best stocks to pick in 2008. The other cool one had a lot of stock information.
I have also been trying to lose some weight with a diet. I hate trying to lose weight, but I need to really badly. Some good advice on dieting was found about Dr. Suzanne Top Ten Fat Loss Secrets. I also found some good dieting info at ediets. Wish me luck in losing weight! I need it.
